Road Trip To Florida

The Spring Break trip to Crystal River, Florida, to see the manatees March 30th-April 3rd received rave reviews!

The Midwest Scuba group boarded the Diver Down bus after work Wednesday and arrived at Blue Grotto, Florida, the next morning rested and ready for diving.

At Blue Grotto, instructors Ken Elliott and Marty Knight conducted open water and rescue training dives while others enjoyed exploring the area. The next morning, bright and early, everyone boarded American Pro's boat charter and the group enjoyed a very interactive encounter with the manatees.

Saturday morning, after diving and finishing up open water training dives at King Spring, the group made the famous drift dive down the Rainbow River. That night, American Pro's Divemaster Chris put on a light show near King Spring elevating himself to "Rock Star" status.

The group rounded off the weekend at Devil's Den before making their way back to St. Charles. The bus made an early morning arrival at the shop and everyone was tired, but all smiles as they unloaded their gear.
